Ridgehaven Preschool has recently been rated as Exceeding National Quality Standard by the EECSRSB of South Australia

4 year olds will be entitled to access 15 hours of preschool in the year before they start school. This is offered as two full days and one three-hour session.

If your child turns five before May 1, they will start school on the first day of Term One in that year. If your child turns five on or after May 1, they will start school on the first day of Term One the following year. The new start date will mean that all children will have four terms of preschool and four terms of reception.

Aboriginal children, Torres Strait Islanders children and children under the Guardianship of the Minister can access four sessions of preschool two years prior to beginning school.

Early Entry

Early Entry is available for children with speech & language delays, developmental delays, English as a second language, and children of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander heritage.
