About our preschool
Our preschool is co-located with our primary school. At our preschool, children are supported to give them a great start in life. Through play-based learning, exploration and experimentation, your child will be set up to thrive when they’re ready for school.
Ridgehaven Preschool has recently been rated as Exceeding National Quality Standard by the EECSRSB of South Australia.

Eligibility for preschool
Children are entitled to four terms of Preschool education prior to commencing school.
Children who turn 4 years old:
- before May 1 are eligible to commence preschool on the first day of term 1 in that year.
- between May 1 and 31 October are eligible to either commence school in the term 3 mid-year intake of the same year or the first day of term 1 of the following year.
- after 31 ctober will be eligible to commence preschool on the first day of term one the following year.
