Student absences

It’s compulsory for children to attend school once they’ve turned 6. Once a child has enrolled they must attend on a regular basis.

If your child is absent from school it’s the parents’ responsibility to inform the school.

How to report a student absence

Call the school on (08) 8264 5277 to report your child’s absence.

If you’ve called outside school hours, leave a message which includes:

  • the student’s name
  • date of absence
  • reason for absence.

For absences longer than 3 days (due to a family holiday etc.), contact the school for an exemption form.
